Hi! I am
Ka ((me - as in He is for me!)) lah.

I
graduated from the illustrious, Duke University where I studied public
health & policy. There, like many students, I learned the tragedy of
adult responsibilities, the beauty of life, and the treasures that lay
within my own being.
After
graduating, a series of unfortunate events led to me stumbling into the
real world with a bag full of faith, hope, and some very hefty loan
payments. A few deferred dreams later, I found myself in communications,
then marketing, waitressing, teaching, starting my own business; while unbeknownst to me - simultaneously becoming a missionary. (Read more about my Missionary Journey Here!)
Life
definitely took some unexpected turns. This is not the life I dreamt of
as a girl or the one I planned for in college. However, it is
everything I could want and more.
Sometimes,
the greatest gift you can give yourself is the gift of opening your
heart & opening your mind to the places God wants to take you.
Whatever He gives you and wherever He takes you, have a heart of
excellence, humility, gratitude, and joy.
Oh the places you will go...
